AUBURN, Ala. - Road closures are expected on portion of Wrights Mill Road and East Samford Avenue from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. on Thursday, June 26, for work scheduled by the Alabama Power Company.

Wrights Mill Road will be closed from Reese Avenue to East Samford Avenue. East Samford Avenue will be closed from Armstrong Street to the East Samford School entrance.

The Samford Pool will be open and accessible from the Wrights Mill Road entrance. Traffic control will be in place at Reese Avenue, Armstrong Street and Dumas Drive to direct motorists around the closures. Motorists and pedestrians are encouraged to use caution in the area and to follow posted signage.

In the event of inclement weather delays, work will be postponed until Tuesday, July 1.
